We are a young company created
in 2003 by four "musketeers" who bring their complementary talents and skills to
this adventure.
Eric de Lalande is a specialist in the international
distribution of fragrances: he has been
operating in this sphere for twenty five years, driving forward the marketing
operations of large groups such as LVMH and Shiseido.
Yves-Marie Degliame is the man
who creates the products and controls manufacturing costs. No detail will escape his eagle eye, as for
the last twenty years he has been in charge of creative development and
production at Parfums Givenchy.
Paul de Gerlache is an
experienced banker and keeps the accounts and finance in good
order.
All the three men needed now
was the feminine touch and Gwenaelle Couteaux, with her experience as head of
marketing at Parfums Yves St Laurent and her specialist knowledge as fragrance
assessor at ISIPCA, will be more than qualified to contribute this essential
element.
They are all passionate about
beautiful perfumes and have set themselves a challenge: to launch successful
niche fragrances, which are simple and of high quality, at accessible prices,
without advertising hype, focussing on a new consumer trend: the desire, observed in a growing number of
countries, to find products which express the values of authenticity, quality
and simplicity.
Their first creation is Accord Parfait.
It has been launched in France
and then progressively in Europe, Asia and the United
States.
A further launch occured in
2004 under licence for Parfums du Prince
Jardinier.
Whilst still concentrating on
the success of their first creations, Quatre-Vents Prestige is also working on
other projects for the future.
